Using the Machine
1. Take the device and the accessories out of the box. Remove any packaging materials that may be
present. Then clean the accessories
2. Attach the accessories as shown in the diagram.
3. Please ensure that the switch (3) is set to "0".
4. Connect the machine to a correctly installed 230V, 50 Hz power socket. Important: First start the
motor and only then add the ice cubes. Do not overfill the crushing equipment. Do not insert your
fingers or other objects into the crushing gear! There is a danger of injury.
5. Switch on the machine.
6. Add ice cubes slowly to the grinding section through the filler tube.

7. The crushed ice is collected in the collection vessel (1).
8. When you would like to stop the crushing process, switch the device to "0".
9. Transfer the crushed ice from the collection vessel to the vessels you wish to use.
Cleaning
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socket.
• For cleaning the outside of the machine use only a damp washing-up cloth.
• Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.
• The collection vessel, the bowl and the lid can be cleaned in soapy water.
• Please use a brush to clean the grinding mechanism.
• Caution: The grinding mechanism contains sharp edges. Danger of injury!
• Please allow all parts to dry thoroughly before storing the machine away.
Disposal of old electrical appliances.
The European directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old
household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling
of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The
crossed out "wheeled bin" symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local
authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their old appliance.
