Interference suppression: The interference
of this appliance has been suppressed in
accordance with interference suppression
standards.
Electromagnetic compatibility: This
appliance complies with the CEM standards of
electromagnetic compatibility.
2. WARNINGS
• Before using the heater, read this instruction
manual carefully and keep it for later reference.
• The domestic mains voltage must coincide with
the data figuring on the appliance reference
plate.
• The electrical safety of this appliance is only
guaranteed if it is connected to an efficient
earth installation, as provided for in the
electrical safety regulations.
• The appliance must not be placed directly
beneath a fixed electrical socket.
• Remove the appliance from its packaging and
check it is in good condition before using it. In
case of doubt, do not use the heater. Contact
your supplier.
• Make sure the cable does not rub against any
sharp edges, become trapped or touch the hot
parts of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance if there is any damage
to the power supply cable or if the heater is
visibly damaged. If the connection cable is
damaged it must be changed by an authorised
Technical Assistance Service only.
• If any operating failure occurs, unplug the
heater and allow it to cool down.
• If any operating failure should occur, switch off
the appliance. Do not attempt to repair it. All
repairs to this appliance must be carried out by

an authorised Technical Assistance Service.
• This heater is not designed for use in wet or
damp environments. Do not use it near baths,
showers, washbasins, swimming pools, etc.
• When the appliance is functioning it produces
very high temperatures and there is a risk of
burns.
• Ensure no water or damp enters the heater
through the grille, as there is a danger of electric
shock. Always keep it in a dry, damp-free place.
• Do not submerge the appliance in water.
• Do not touch the appliance with wet hands.
• Do not use the heater with a programmer,
timer or any other device which switches it on
automatically, as if it is covered or incorrectly
positioned there will be a risk of fire.
• The appliance must not be used beneath
combustible materials (e.g. curtains).
• Do not stand the appliance near furniture,
curtains, aerosols or flammable materials. Leave
a free space of approximately 50 cm around it.
• Do not use the heater in places where there is
gas, paint or any flammable objects. In case
of malfunctioning or anomaly, switch off the
heater, unplug it from the mains and send it to
the technical assistance service for inspection
and/or repair.
• Stand the appliance on a flat, horizontal, stable
surface.
• Do not insert any objects through the heater
grille.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• The purpose of the protection grille is to prevent
direct access to the heating elements, and it
must be in place when the heater is being used.
• The protection grille does not totally protect the
heater. Do not leave the appliance unattended
and keep it away from children and the
disabled.
• Do not cover the protection grille as this will
cause overheating.
• Unplug the heater when it is out of use and
before any cleaning and maintenance.
• Do not pull on the cable when unplugging the
heater from the mains.
• Do not use the appliance for drying clothes.
• The heater is designed for domestic use only,
as described in this manual.
• This appliance is not designed for use by
people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities, or those
with lack of experience or knowledge, unless
