KEYPAD OPERATION

KEYPAD:
Button 1 - Power ON / CLEAR
PRESS the
backlight will illuminate for 18 - 22 seconds.
Pressing the power button while operating the wheel will clear the display.
Button 2 - Units
Select the work units desired. Ft - in, ft - 1/100ths, or
metric. Measurements can also be converted to each system by
pressing the [Units] button once the measurement has been made.
Button 3 - Mem #
After taking a measurement PRESS the [Mem #] button to select the
desired memory location for saving a measurement.
Button 4 - Mem Save
After selecting the memory location number desired PRESS the
[Mem Save] button to store the measurement.
COMBINATIONS:
Freeze Reading
Hold DOWN [Mem Save] and PRESS [Power ON] to freeze the reading.
Reading Freezes and backlight blinks. Repeat the action to
unfreeze and to continue measuring.
Backlight On
Hold DOWN [Units] and PRESS [Power ON] buttons to turn on the backlight
for 16 - 22 seconds.
Power OFF
Hold DOWN [Mem #] and PRESS [Units] buttons to power off the unit.
Wheel can be extended by releasing the two clamps and pulling on the
wheel to extend.
If for any reason the wheel malfunctions, a hard reset can be performed by
removing the batteries for 30 seconds.
