6 General information for commissioning
6.1 Assembly of the vacuum cleaner
6.1.1 Connecting the vacuum cleaner hose (fig 2)
1. To connect the vacuum cleaner hose, simply push the
appropriate end into the opening until there is a clearly audible
click as shown in Fig. 2 at the top. The hose is now firmly
locked into place.
2. To release and remove, press on button 1 and remove the hose
end from the opening.
6.2 Assembling the suction hose
The individual parts can very simply be inserted into each other, as
required, as shown in fig. 3.
6.3 Regulating the vacuuming power
In fig. 3 A, you see the small slide on the top of the hose handle.
The vacuuming power can be adjusted here: The power is greatest
when the slide is completely closed, and smallest when it is com-
pletely open.
6.4 Removing the top part of the housing
fig. 3 B shows the clips that hold the top part of the housing and
the box together. In order to release them, simply fold them up,
then the top part of the housing can be removed for cleaning and
maintenance purposes.
Caution: There are two clips facing each other on the device.
6.5 Areas of application of the various vacuuming nozzles
6.5.1 Floor nozzle:
Application: Large, dry surfaces, such as apartment floors, beds
etc

6.6 Operating modes

Two operating modes can be selected: Normal mode and automa-
tic mode.
6.6.1 Normal mode
In normal mode, the vacuum cleaner is quite simply switched on
and off with the left-hand of the two switches, irrespective of the
position of the right-hand automatic switch.
This ONLY functions, however, if the vacuum cleaner socket is not
occupied! As soon as a plug is inserted there and an external devi-
ce is connected, it is only possible to operate the vacuum cleaner
in automatic mode!
6.6.2 Automatic mode
Please note:
Once the connected electrical appliance has been switched off,
the vacuum cleaner runs for a follow-up time of about 5 seconds!
The pre-requisite for this mode is the connection of an external electri-
cal device to the socket of the vacuum cleaner.
To do this, open the lid of the socket and insert the plug. Pay at-
tention to the correct voltage! And please note: The connected
electrical device must not have any more than 2000 Watt capacity!
If, in this mode, the right-hand automatic switch is in position "O",
the socket on the vacuum cleaner can be "switched" with the left-
