Riding instructions

1.
Select a suitable area, preferably with flat surface.
2.
Ask a friend or adult to help you during your first attempts.
3.
Stand opposite from each other, place one hand on the shoulder of the other person, and have the other person do the same for optimum secure
footing.
4.
Place one foot on the center of the front deck, with the foot being transverse to the direction of travel.
5.
Once your front foot is fully balanced, push your rear foot off the floor towards the direction of travel. While doing so, slightly shift the weight to
the front foot and then place your rear foot on the board as well.
6.
Keep your eyes at the direction you travel, keep your upper body in upright position, and slightly bend your knees. Then start to move your feet
forward and back – like a "twisting" motion. Slowly increase the range of movement, as this will help increase speed and at the same time
maintain stability.
7.
Continuously moving shoulders and hips keeps the board in motion. Further pushing off the ground is not necessary.
8.
With increasing safety and practice you can increase speed gradually.
But only ride at speeds that allow you to control the board and to get off at any time.
If you have to get off the board while riding, always make sure that the rolling Waveboard cannot hurt anyone.
9.
Braking: Waveboards do not feature any braking device. For that reason, only ride at speeds that allow you to control the board and to get off
in a safe manner while riding.
10. Never have other vehicles pull you.
