Quick Installation Guide

1. Open any web browser (Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, ...)
2. Type http://register.fon.com in the address bar.
3. Then, enter the MAC and PIN CODE numbers found on the device. Follow the steps
on your screen.
1. Connect your Fonera to the internet.
Please note the Fonera is not a stand-alone device, and it must be
connected to your existing modem/router to work.
Plug in your Fonera.
Then, take the
Fonera, and connect the other end to your modem.
2. Connect your Fonera to your computer
or laptop.
Select the MyPlace WiFi
Enter the password printed on your Fonera (same as WPA key)
Don't have WiFi?
Then, take an ethernet cable and connect one end to your Fonera and the
other to your computer or laptop.
3. Configure your Fonera.
Open any browser (e.g. Firefox)
Type: http://fonera
Alternatively, you can type your Fonera's IP address (http://192.168.10.1)
Enter the default password: admin.
Now you can view and modify the technical aspects of your Fonera.
