Intended use
The diaphragm pressure switch is a pneumatic device that
is used to monitor pressure values. It is intended for
application in a machine or system. It may be operated
only in the installed state.

data.
The product is intended for professional use only.
Use with oxygen:
The maximum working pressure when using with oxygen
must not exceed 10 bar.
O Always observe the relevant accident prevention
regulations.
Improper use
Improper use includes installing the diaphragm pressure
switch in hydraulic systems or applying aggressive or
flammable gases, or liquids, to it.
AVENTICS GmbH is not liable for any damages resulting
from improper use. The user alone bears the risks of
improper use of the product.
Personnel qualifications
The work described in this documentation requires basic
mechanical and pneumatic knowledge, as well as
knowledge of the appropriate technical terms. In order to
ensure safe use, these activities may therefore only be
carried out by qualified technical personnel or an
instructed person under the direction and supervision of
qualified personnel.

hazards and institute the appropriate safety measures,
due to their professional training, knowledge, and
experience, as well as their understanding of the relevant

Device Description

The diaphragm pressure switch monitors a set pressure
value. When the pressure changes, the integrated
diaphragm moves. The deflection of the diaphragm
depends on the pressure force and the adjustable pre-
loaded spring. With the adjustment screw you can adjust
the deflection of the diaphragm so that an electrical
contact is closed as soon as the set pressure is exceeded.
