setup:
1. Expose the left wrist.
2. With the lower arm free of clothing and
jewelry, attach the cuff to the bare wrist.
Insure that the cult is positioned about
1 cm above the palm.
3. Fold the outer section back to snugly
attach and fasten to the Velcrotape.
Note: Blood circulation to the hand should not be
impaired or constricted. Clothing, elastic bands or other
constrictive objects must be removed.
General:
- In a sitting position and with the cuff attached as
previously mentioned, a blood pressure reading can
be obtained.
- For accurate pressure measurement, take blood-
pressure readings in a sitting position.
- Ensure that the lower arm is raised so that the upper
edge of the cuff is on the same level as the heart.
- Ideally, place the palm of the hand facing upwards.
- In order to ensure a proper measurement, sit quietly
and avoid talking. Rapid movements or other
activities may alter blood pressure readings.
- At any time, to stop the pressurizing process, press
the button
will exhaust from the unit.
