6. For best results, oil the cooking plates slightly.
Instructions : When using for the first time, there may be a slight smell and some smoke. This is
normal with this type of appliance. This has no effect on the safety of your appliance.
III.2 USING THE APPLIANCE
1. Put the appliance on a stable table.
2. Moving the Lock (1) upwards to to open the appliance.
3. Make sure that the cooking plates are well-positioned and properly locked inside the
appliance.
Note: To remove or replace the plates, press the Plate eject button (6). Pay attention to high
temperature and avoid burns
4. Close the appliance and connect the cord to the socket. The Red light (3) and the Green light
(4) turn on. Machine starts to pre-heat. After pre-heating finishes, the Red light (3) keeps on
and the Green light (4) turns off.
5. Open the appliance and place the preparations on the lower plate (waffle, toasted sandwich).
6. Close the appliance.
Note:
If you do not close the appliance, steam may escape from the inside of the waffle iron, so it is
not recommended to put your hands near these areas in order to avoid burns. It is therefore
strongly advised to close it, for faster and safer cooking.
This appliance is reversible. To get a better cooking effect especially for waffle, you can hold
the Handle (2) and quickly overturn one time the appliance immediately after you put the
preparations and close the appliance. This step is optional.
The appliance must be well preheated before use.
7. Cooking time for waffle is approximately 5 minutes, you can extend the time if you want
deeper cooking.
8. Open the appliance. Use a plastic or wood spatula to remove the food. Never use sharp tools
like metal tongs or knife because they will damage the coating on cooking plate surface.
Note : If there is hot steam spraying out to front handle, be careful to open the appliance and
avoid burns.
9. When you finish cooking, unplug the appliance and leave it open to cool down.
IV- ADVICE CARE AND STORAGE
1. Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and leave it to cool down for 1 hour.
2. The plates can the cleaned in the dishwasher or use a damp sponge with some dish washing
liquid. Rinse them and dry them thoroughly.
3. Never use a metal sponge or scouring powder, which can damage the cooking surface.
4. To clean the outside of the appliance, use a damp sponge and wipe carefully.
5. Always make sure that the appliance is cold and dry before storing it.
6. Wind the cord in the space provided.
7. The appliance can be stored vertically to save space.
