Voice coil options
We offer two distinct subwoofer designs, a single voice coil and a dual voice coil. Since there is negligible difference between the two options when it
comes to performance, you may ask yourself why then do we offer this? These two designs offer greater fl exibility in system design allowing a better
matched speaker load for your chosen amplifi er. Since there is no standard for optimum amplifi er loads or a fi xed number of subs used in every
application we have illustrated the most common confi gurations to optimize performance with our mono-block amplifi ers, please see fi gure X. For
further wiring illustrations we have provided a tutorial on our website in the support section at phoenixgold.com
