2.2. CLEANING (Fig. 9)
2.2. a General
Strict observance of the maintenance rules in this
section guarantees good preservation and satisfac-
tory operation of the machine and greatly reduces the
need for repairs.

n case of irregularities or malfunctioning of any com-
ponent of the machine, FIRST OF ALL CHECK that
the instructions in the previous paragraphs have been
followed. Interventions must be carried out promptly at
the onset of failures to avoid worsening of the problem
and damaging further parts.

aily operations to be carried out at the end of work,
with the machine OFF, the main switch disconnected,
the water supply valve closed and the wash tank empty
1. Clean the inside of the machine thoroughly.
2. Remove the basket filter (15) by turning it anti-
clockwise and lift it to perform cleaning;
3. Extract the stainless steel tank plate filter (16) from
the bottom of the machine and lift it to perform
cleaning;
4. Remove the overflow (14) (HR models).
5. Remove the microfilter (17) by turning it anti-
clockwise and lift it to perform cleaning;
6. Wash the filters in running water and refit them
correctly in their seats, turning them the opposite
direction.
ATTENTION
Place the basket filter using the directions on
the filter.
2.3. PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE (Fig. 9)
Preventive maintenance operations to be carried out
with the machine OFF, the main switch disconnected,
the water supply valve closed and the wash tank emp-
ty.
2.3.a Control and cleaning of spray arms and nozzles
(Fig. 9).
Periodically check that the upper and lower wash/rinse
spray arm (18) rotates freely and that the relative nozzles
(20) are not obstructed.
Cleaning lower/upper unit:
1. Release the spray arm (18) by pressing the button in
the middle (19) and lift it (16).
2. Disassemble the wash/rinse jets (20) and the
side plugs (21) pressing them lightly.
If the nozzles are obstructed, unscrew them to
remove them. Clean the objects being careful
not to deform the shape of the nozzle
3. Refit the side plugs (21) and the nozzles (20) in the
exact same position.

4. Reposition the wash/rinse spray arm.
ATTENTION
R
egularly check and clean the spray arms, removing
them from the columns and removing any debris and
encrustations. The frequency of this operation depends
on the amount of residue or on unsatisfactory washing
results. To wash the outside of the machine, do not use
corrosive products such as sodium hypochlorite (bleach)
or hydrochloric acid (muriatic acid) with steel sponges
or brushes.
