KLA500 Hardwired Arming Station
The KLA500 is a hardwired arming station, designed for the FORCE Series intruder alarm systems. It is used for arming and disarming,
and activating relay outputs. The KLA500 connects to the control panel's bus and has touch keys.
The KLA500 handles basic functionality and displays system status using LEDs. The low cost and small footprint of the KLA500 makes it
ideal for use as an alternative to the more costly LCD keypads. It is particularly well suited for places such as an office, workshop,
garage, etc., where full functionality is not necessarily required.
The KLA500 has a modern and sleek design that fits every indoor decoration. The keypad's buttons are backlighted with blue LEDs.
The keypad has keys for quick Away and Home arming. Eight Activation Codes for activating devices such as a light or electric gate
are also available.
The KLA500 has a tamper switch for detecting the opening of its enclosure.

How to install the KLA500
Follow the next steps to connect the keypads.
1. Insert a slotted screwdriver to the notches on the keypad's bottom, press gently and remove the backplate.
2. Pass the Bus wires through the opening at the backplate.
3. Use the mounting holes and mount the backplate on a flat surface.
4. Use the supplied terminal block and connect four wires (not supplied) between the keypad's 1-4 terminals and the control panel's
FORCE BUS terminals: each wire connects between terminals with the same number (1-1, 2-2, etc.).
5. Attach the keypad to the mounted backplate, top side first, and press until clicked.
