Operation
Zone Pager Operation with Zonetech
When using Zone Pager with Zonetech, the operation is plug-and-play. The paging is zone
based, with one button for each of the 6 zones, one button for Page All, one button for Group
1, and one button for Group 2.
To assign which zones are in Group 1:
1.
Select the desired Zones.
2.
Press and hold the Group 1 button until it flashes.
To assign which zones are in Group 2:
1.
Select the desired Zones.
2.
Press and hold the Group 2 button until it flashes.
Zone Pager includes a dynamic microphone. The mic input is set to Dynamic mode by default.
Zonetech's front panel or web controls can select between Condenser and Dynamic input
modes.
The Page button can be set to either Toggle or Momentary mode using Zonetech's web
controls. When set to Toggle, press and release the Page button to page; press and release
the Page button again when paging is finished. When set to Momentary, press and continue to
hold the Page button while paging; release the Page button once paging is finished.
Zone Pager Operation with Halogen
The Halogen software supports setting Zone Pager's mic input for either dynamic or
condenser mic operation. Halogen also supports momentary or toggle operation with Zone
Pager's Page button.
Since Halogen is Scenario based (not Zone based), you can define up to 9 Scenarios for Zone
Pager. Each Scenario can have one or more Zones associated with it. All nine selection
buttons (Zone 1-6, Page All, Group 1, and Group 2) are used to select 1 of 9 Scenarios. It is
not possible to dynamically combine Scenarios using the Group buttons on Zone Pager. In
Halogen, the first six Scenarios can be set for Zones 1-6. Scenarios addressed with the Page
All button can have all Zones in it. Up to two custom Groups can be set up in Halogen.
