B. Inlet filter screen
Before each use: Check the inlet filter screen for debris that
can restrict water flow into the pump resulting in poor
performance. If the filter screen is dirty or clogged, remove,
clean and replace.
C. Jetter nozzle orifice
Before each use: Check the nozzle orifices for debris. If an
orifice is blocked, use nozzle-cleaning tool to clear and
remove debris.
D. Jetter flushing
After use: Run clear water through the jetter and hose(s) in
order to flush out debris. Make sure nozzle is removed from
hose for maximum water flow.
After flushing: Be sure to use the winterizing kit (figure 10) if
storing unit in freezing temperatures.
E. Motor oil (KJ-1590)
Be sure to use SAE 90 oil, exactly 0.22l. Do not use too
much oil in the pump because the pressure cannot escape.
You must change the oil for the first time after 50 working
hours and then after every 200 working hours or minimal
once a year.
The oil cap is constructed not to let oil run out of the motor
but you can loose a minimal amount of oil when you turn the
machine upside down.
For information about the KJ-2200 and KJ-3000 check the
motor manufacturer manual.

6. Troubleshooting

PROBLEM
Jetter runs but produces
little or no pressure.
Jetter will not adjust to
full operating pressure
at start-up.
Jetter pressure gage
oscillates between
minimum and maximum
pressure.
CAUSE
Inlet filter blocked.
Inadequate water supply.
- Air is trapped in system.
- Jetter nozzle thrusters
are blocked.
Inlet filter blocked.
Jetter nozzle thrusters
are blocked.
Debris or air trapped in
system.
5. Accessories
A. Pressure wash package (figure 9)
The KJ-1590 and KJ-2200 can operate a pressure washer to
spray wash vehicles, drain cleaning equipment and cables.
To utilise the wash feature:
• Check if the pulse actuator is in the OFF position
• Attach the wash hand to the
any
1
" jetter hose.
2
• The black nozzle end has two adjustments. By rotating the
nozzle, the wash pattern can be wide or narrow. The nozzle
also has a forward (low pressure) and back (high-pressure)
position. Make sure the nozzle is in the back position to
begin operation.
• Adjust system with the wash hand activated. Once
pressure is achieved, begin washing and adjust the nozzle
setting as required.
B. Winterizing kit (figure 10)
WARNING: Freezing temperatures can cause serious
damage to the pump. If such cold storage conditions are
encountered, charge the jetter with RV (Non-Ethylene Glycol)
Anti-Freeze.
The winterizing kit (H-25) includes RV anti-freeze and a
delivery hose that attaches to the inlet valve.
NOTE: Hose must be reversed with the KJ-1590.
WARNING: No substances containing ethylene glycol can be
used in a drainage system.
- Clean filter if blocked.
- Make certain water supply tap is on.
- Make certain jetter's water supply inlet valve is on.
- Make certain water supply hose is clear and not kinked or collapsed.
Remove nozzles from jet hose and run jetter to flush air/debris from
system.
Remove nozzle and clean thruster orifices with nozzle cleaning tool.
Clean filter if blocked.
Remove nozzle. Use nozzle-cleaning tool to clear nozzle orifices: select
proper wire size and push completely through each thruster orifice to
remove debris.
Remove nozzle and insert jet hose in drain line. Run jetter to flush
trapped air or debris.
