SAFETY
CAUTION:
Installation, inspection, maintenance and repair work should be carried out by qualified, suitably
trained personnel. Before any work is carried out, the appliance should be disconnected from
the electricity supply. Check regularly state of: power cord, moving parts, knobs, security
screws. No parts can be repaired by the user. Use only original parts and accessories.
Do not touch hot surface to prevent burns. The temperature of accessible surfaces such as grill
plate and body may be high when the appliance is operating or immediately after use. Beware
of steam from the appliance when in use.
The appliance can be used by children only if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Before your first use of Snack Maker, please read this user guide carefully, it provides important
information regarding safety operation. Please also keep it for your future reference:
1. The appliance is for household usage only, outdoor usage is not recommended.
2. Keep the appliance and the supply cord out of the reach of children and animals. They
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
3. Before using the appliance, please remove all packing materials.
4. After unpacking the appliance, check that it is undamaged and no parts are missing.
5. All contents of the package, such as plastic bags, Styrofoam, tape etc., should be kept out of
reach of children, as it could be dangerous and cause suffocation.
6. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer and those provided with the
appliance, otherwise they could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the
appliance.
7. Before using the appliance, check that the supply voltage details marked on the appliance
agree with those of the electricity supply. The label is placed on the appliance. If you have any
doubts, please ask qualified electrician for help.
8. All installation, assembly, assistance and maintenance procedures must be performed by
qualified personnel in accordance with current regulations.
9. The appliance must be earthed and its circuit must be in compliance with the relevant safety
standards. In case the power socket and the plug of the appliance do not correspond, let the
socket be removed and changed by an authorized person only.
10. Single and multiple adapters and/or extensions are not recommended. In case their use
becomes necessary, use simple or multiple adapters, in accordance with the relevant safety
standards, without exceeding neither the power handling capacity marked on the adapter and
on the extensions, nor the overload limit marked on the multiple- adapter.
11. Do not operate the appliance when the power cord is tangle or hang it over the edge of
table, counter-top or let it touch any hot surface, because it may damage the power cord.
12. Do not operate the appliance close to flammable or heat sensitive items and materials such
as table cloth, curtain and towel etc.
13. Unplug the appliance after use. Make sure it is completely cool down before removing,
cleaning or checking.
14. The appliance is NOT water proof, please do not immerse the appliance, power cord or
plug into the water or in a damp environment, it can cause electric shock or fire. To clean your
appliance, please follow our cleaning instructions on part cleaning on this user guide.
15. Ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely cool down, store it in indoors and out of
children reach when it is not in use.
