Broiling
The top heating elements cycle on and off
to maintain maximum temperature in the
oven. For best results, the oven should be
preheated for 15 minutes at 450°F before
adding the food to be broiled. During
broiling, the baking/drip pan must be place
underneath the meat in order to catch the
drippings.
Operation
1. Set temperature control to 450°F.
2. Turn function control to "Broil".
3. Preheat the oven for 15 minutes.
4. Slide the baking/drip pan into the oven
using the rack guides.
Note:
The rack guide you select will
depend on the thickness of the meat that
you wish to cook. The thicker the meat,
the lower you will need to place the
baking/drip pan and wire rack.
5. Place the food onto the wire rack.
6. Brush food with sauces or oil as
desired
7. Slide the wire rack into the highest
position possible. Food should be
placed as close as possible to the top
heating element without touching it.
8. Set temperature control to the
appropriate temperature
9. Turn time control to the "Stay On"
position.
10. It is advisable to leave the door slightly
ajar.
11. When broiling is complete, turn the
time control to "OFF" before removing
the food.
Broiling Guide
Cooking results may vary, adjust these
times to your individual requirements.
Also, check often during broiling to avoid
