INSTALLATION AND OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS OF TUBULAR SINGLE-PHASE MOTORS TUB SERIES
TUB series tubular motors have the advantage of small volume, low noise, easy installation and can be applied in blind rollers, among other
uses.

WARNING: IT IS IMPORTANT FOR THE SAFETY OF PERSONS TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS! SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS!
I -
These instructions are extremely important:
Do not allow children to play with fixed controls and keep the remote controls away from them.
Frequently examine the installation for imbalance and signs of wear or damage to cables and springs. The end user should not
attempt to repair or adjust the equipment: he should call and wait for technical support.

Structure
The main internal structure of the tubular motors consists in a single-phase motor, limit switch controller and planetary gear speed
reduction.
III -
Connection method
TUB series tubular motors rotate clockwise and anticlockwise. See
NOTE:
When the blue cable and the brown cable are connected, the motor rotates clockwise.
When the blue cable and the black cable are connected, the motor rotates anticlockwise.
IV -
Limit switch setting
The following Limit switch regulations are suitable to TUB tubular motors:
1 - A
( ) adjusts the Limit switch when the motor is running in anticlockwise direction. The
decreases the limit.
2 - B
( ) adjusts the Limit switch when the motor is running in clockwise direction. The
decreases the limit.
NOTE:
Please use the special adjust bar to adjust the Limit switches.
V -
Note
- The tubular motors are designed according to the short time system (4min.), so the motors should not run more than 4 minutes, otherwise, it
will be switched off automatically for self-protection.
- The tubular motors should not be started frequently, and should not be running when the load exceed its capacity to avoid damaging them.
- When the motors are not running do not turn the crown or the limit switches.
- The green and yellow cable of the tubular motors must be connected to ground effectively to assure safety under installation or usage.
- During transportation, storage or usage, the tubular motors should not touch water.
VI -
Troubleshoot table
TUB motors cannot run, start too slowly or
with too much noise
The rolling shutter stops but motor still
runs, or makes noise but doesn't move
The Limit switch set is not suitable to the
customer's requirements

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1 - Incorrect cable connection
2 - Wrong installation or overweight
3 - The voltage is too low
1 - The motor reached the max course or
limit switches are not well adjusted
2 - Overweight
The motor's course is too short
