8) Attach centring blocks on the top of the countertop to make sure the washbasin is in the correct position.
9) Clean around the underside of the washbasin rim and countertop using denatured alcohol.
10) Bond with adhesive or silicone.
11) Attach the washbasin to the countertop using strips of wood and grips, and leave in place until it dries.
2.3 ON TOP
BONDING WITH ADHESIVE
Advantages:
Better visual finish.
Better bond.
Disadvantages:
Longer installation tim.
Difficult to replace.
BONDING WITH SILICONE
Advantages:
Quick assembly.
Easy to replace.
Disadvantages:
Achieving an acceptable finish will depend on the chosen colour.
NOTE: If this option is chosen and LUX 1100 sheet is used, SYSTEMPOOL recommends using neutral white S-502 silicone from BUTECH.
1) Place the washbasin in the required position.
Attach centring blocks to prevent it from moving. Mark the centre of the drain.
2) Machine a Ø120 opening for the drain. Drill a hole with a core bit in the sheet.
