Important: You will need the M4000-PRO's unique MAC Address and Challenge Key (provided on the 2 labels attached to the cover of the guide). One is permanently
adhered and the other is removable for your convenience.

1. Outlet Bank 1, 2, 3 Buttons
The blue light above each outlet bank button indicates its present ON/OFF
state. Pressing the button for less than 5 seconds toggles the correspond-
ing Outlet Bank's ON/OFF state. Pressing the button for 5 seconds or more
initiates a reboot sequence for the corresponding Outlet Bank.
2. Brightness Control Button

Pressing the Brightness Control button ( ) cycles through the brightness
levels of all status indicator lights. The Outlet Bank ON/OFF indicators cannot
be turned off completely.
3. Wiring Fault Indicator
Illuminates red if the house wiring is reverse-wired or the ground is not
connected.

RED
The wall outlet is reversed-wired or the ground is not connected.
4. Unsafe Voltage Indicator
If the line voltage is less than 95 Vac or greater than 134 Vac, the outlets will
shut off and this light will flash red. When the line voltage comes back to the
safe operating range, this light will turn off and an outlet turn-on sequence is
initiated.

8. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatuses
that produce heat.
9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding type plug. A polarized plug has two
blades, with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding
prong. The wide blade or the third prong is provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit
into your outlet, consult an electrician for replacement of the obsolete outlet.

6. Front Panel Outlet

The outlet on the front panel is included in Outlet Bank 1 and can be used for
temporarily powering portable equipment.
Default Outlet Sequencing
When M4000-PRO is powered-up, recovers from an overvoltage or
undervoltage event, or detects voltage on the DC trigger input, the outlet banks
turn on in sequence:
Outlet Bank 1 ON, Outlet Bank 2 ON g10 second delaygOutlet Bank 3 ON
When the voltage on the DC trigger input goes to 0V, the outlet banks turn off
in sequence:
Outlet Bank 3 OFFg10 second delaygOutlet Bank 1 OFF, Outlet Bank 2 OFF
10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched, particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus.
11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
12. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has
been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or
objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not
operate normally, or has been dropped.
13. Where the power cord is used as the main disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain
readily accessible.
14. This device must be connected to a main socket outlet with a protective earthing connection
