OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place toes against bottom of ladder side rails.
2. Stand erect.
3. Extend arms straight out.
4. Palms of hands should touch top of rung at
shoulder level.
5. Extend ladder one to three feet (30.5 cm to 1 m)
above top support.
LOCKING MECHANISMS
RAIL LOCKS
TO UNLOCK
Pull both rail locks out
of blocking holes and
turn them down. The rails
should slide freely with the
locks disengaged.
TO LOCK
Pull both rail locks and
insert them in the rails
blocking holes. The rails
can't slide with locks
engaged.
CLIMB FROM THIS SIDE ONLY

TO UNLOCK
Push both hinge locks to
release them. The ladder
rails should be able
to fold with the locks
disengaged.
TO LOCK
Align pins with holes &
pull both hinge locks (if
necessary) to engage
lock mechanism. The
ladder rails should not
be able to fold with the
locks engaged.
