    Scale and Crane Connect app With the free Crane Connect app (hereinafter referred to as “app”) you can save and analyse this data on your smartphone or tablet. The scale can record and transmit physical data for up to eight different users. The data are only visible for the current user and are never visible for other users.

Only a medical specialist can mea- sure the calcium concentration and bone density with a special medical device.

    Evaluating the measurements Basal metabolic rate (BMR) The basal metabolic rate, BMR, refers to the amount of energy your body requires on a daily basis when fully at rest in order to maintain its basic functions. There- fore, you must consume at least this amount of energy through your diet to avoid any harm to your health.
