Installation, Location Consideration, and Mounting
The CLEARVUE MINI may be installed in several different ways depending
on the unit and location. These options include:
1. Above ceiling
2. Inside lineset cover
3. Inside evaporator
4. Behind evaporator mounting bracket in space behind drywall

• Attach the tubing by pressing it over the barbed fitting.
• Route the tubing up and away from the pump; avoid compressing or kink-
ing the tubing. The tube route should be the shortest possible distance from
the pump to the building exterior or other drain location. For best results the
distance that the water must go UP should be shorter than the distance
that it goes DOWN. The longer DOWN tubing length creates a siphon effect
that helps move water with less effort from the pump, speeding the pump
out time and allowing the pump to operate more quietly.
• Add .5cm / 3/16" vent tubing above the water level of the primary drain pan in
the evaporator.
• Pump and tank must be installed level.
• Affix clear tank inside unit using included hook and loop strips.
• When mounting the pump any distance above the tank, it must be primed
with water before mounting to provide suction lift.
