Fault
The ABIDOT cannot be
mounted on the welding
torch

The ABIDOT is maintenance-free, however we recommend regular cleaning.
NOTICE
It is not required to replace the battery.
• Dispose the ABIDOT at your communal disposal authorities
(e.g. recycling yard) or send it back to your dealer or the manufacturer.
NOTICE
• If the measures described below are not successful, please consult your
dealer or the manufacturer.
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding components,
such as welding torch, robot control.
Cause
• Wrong adaptor sleeve mounted
• Coarse dirt on the tip adaptor
and/or gas nozzle support of the
welding torch
• Device defective
• Power supply unit defective
• The USB connector is not
connected completely to the
power supply unit
• Rechargeable battery defective
Solution
• Mount the suitable adaptor sleeve
according to the welding torch
used
• Clean the components of the
welding torch
• Remove spatter protector or gas
diffuser
• Charge the ABIDOT

• Replace the power supply unit
• Connect the USB connector
(power supply unit) completely
