4. MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS. RECOMMENDATIONS.
Before carrying out any work process, the reviews given in section 3.1 of this manual must
be verified. The internal parts of the workstation are manufactured especially for the type of
gas and the regulation function.
It is advisable to periodically carry out a complete inspection of the installation by
TECHNICALLY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL, including both manometers and the pressure
regulator as well as the installation connections.
Any check and repair must always be carried out by specialised personnel. Always
demand original spare parts with the GALA GAR guarantee.
PERIODICALLY MAKE SURE THAT THE EQUIPMENT HAS NO LEAKS.
5. ANOMALIES. PROBABLE CAUSES. POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS.
SYMPTOM. ANOMALY.
LACK OF PRESSURE IN
THE WORKSTATION.
LACK OF CONTROL OF
PRESSURE REGULATION.
FREEZING AND
APPEARANCE OF FROST.
SPECIALIZED PERSONNEL MUST CARRY OUT ANY WORK ON THE EQUIPMENT.
6. SAFETY MEASURES.
•
Keep the workstation clean and far away from oils and grease. Never lubricate the
pressure regulator of the workstation or its connections with oil or grease.
•
Do not handle the pressure regulators with greasy hands.
•
If you detect oil or grease in the installation, this must be cleaned by TECHNICALLY
QUALIFIED PERSONNEL.
•
Open the valves slowly and carefully and make sure there are no leaks, which might
cause burns.
•
Check that there are no gas leaks in the pressure regulator or in the connections of the
inlet and outlet hoses to the workstation.
•
Do not use flames to ensure that there are not leaks in the installation.
•
Use flexible hoses for use at 200 bars with safety cable to couple to entry of regulators.
Before opening the cylinder, remove front plate, surround the pressure regulators with
the cables and put the front back on.
WORKSTATIONS
PROBABLE CAUSE.
The distribution installation

The pressure regulator perfectly

passage of gas.
The type of installation used
may not be the most suitable.
POSSIBLE SOLUTION.
Refill the bottles. Review the outlet
pressure of pressure regulator.
Close the gas bottle valve and consult
a specialized person.
Stop the work. Consult a specialised
technician.
