INSTALLATION
.
The boiler must be installed by a properly qualified person. It must
be installed in a room of a suitable size in compliance with the rele-
vant safety rules.
The plumbing system must ensure a minimum flow of water into the
boiler as shown in the specification.
Figure 5 shows two examples of plumbing system layout. If a sealed
expansion tank is used, a safety valve must be fitted.
Always remember to comply with any local rules on the safety of
heating systems.

HOW TO INSTALL THE BOILER
.
The boiler is installed in separate stages:
1 - Plumbing connections and hydraulic test.
2 - Assembly of the jacket.
3 - Installation of the control panel.
13.1 - PLUMBING CONNECTIONS AND HYDRAULIC
TEST (Figs. 6-9)
Always clean the system completely before making the plumbing
connections.
What to do after positioning the boiler:
1 - Fit the insulating panel (37) onto the rear element (1), centring
the holes in the tie-rods (3).
2 - Mount a 1/2" cock (C) to drain the boiler.
3 - Connect the delivery and return pipes using 1" 1/4 the threaded
fittings on the rear elements for the heating circuit.
4 - Fill the boiler slowly and relieve it entirely of air. Charge the sys-
tem until the pressure is at least 1 bar.
CAUTION! The maximum working pressure is 4 bar.
(Fig. 5)
13.2 - JACKET ASSEMBLY (Figs. 7-8-9 and 10)
1 - Mount the brackets (22) on the front element (21) and lock them
with M8x35 screws (9), nuts (24) and washers (8).
2 - Screw the 3.9 x 9.5 self-tapping screws (32) partially into the top
holes in the brackets (22).
3 - Tighten the nuts (2) fully by hand on the rear tie-rods (3).
4 - Cover the boiler shell with layers of insulation (38) making sure

If there is also a water heater, it is necessary to mount
the kit shown in fig. 13, following the instructions in
paragraph 13.4.
2 - The instructions in the paragraph below are for me-

four 4.2x13 screws (53) and the four clips (55).
5 - Mount the safety guard (39).
6 - Connect the cables of the circulation pump, burner and power
