3 Safety instructions and
regulations
The bus coupler unit may only be installed by
an approved heating engineering company,
which is responsible for observing the follow-
ing standards and regulations. We accept no
liability for any damage caused by failure to
observe these instructions.
3.1

Safety instructions

Danger!
Risk of fatal electric shock from
touching live connections.
Before working on the appliance,
switch off the power supply and
secure it against restart.
Using the mains switch on the con-
trollers is not sufficient to isolate all
terminals of the system.

3.2 Regulations
Follow the regulations issued by the electrici-
ty suppliers in your country.
Use standard wires for wiring. The bus line
must have a minimum cross section of at

least 0.75 mm and may not be longer than
300 m.
At lengths of over 10 m, 230V connection
leads must be laid separately from sensor or
bus wires.
