Prepare the camera.

Which digital cameras can be used?

This Case (PT-031) can only be used with the SP-700 camera.

Turn the digital camera ON.

The digital camera can be switched ON with its POWER button.
If the digital camera is not operated for a certain period of time while
the power is ON, it will enter the sleep mode (standby status) to reduce
battery power consumption. The camera restarts operation whenever a
control such as the zoom lever is manipulated. The time period until the
camera enters the sleep mode can be set on the camera.
About 10 minutes after the camera enters the sleep mode, the lens
cover closes and the camera turns OFF completely. In this case, the
camera must be turned ON again before it can be used again.

Check the operation of the loaded camera.

Check if the camera functions normally as described in its
instruction manual.
After checking, press the camera's POWER button to turn it OFF.

Open the Case.

Use the provided O-ring remover as described below.
Insert the hook section below the buckle lock/unlock lever.
Slowly pull the O-ring remover.
If the O-ring remover is not available, push the buckle lock/unlock
lever from the left and right with your thumb and index finger, and
pull up the lever gently.
