2. Assembly (see Fig. 1)
First join together the legs (3) with the screws size
M8 (2) and matching washers (6), serrated lock
washers (7) and wing nuts size M8 (8). Fasten the
cross-struts (5) at the same time.
Now slip the bracket (13) onto one of the axles (9).
Then insert the ends of the axles (9) through the
holes in the lower part of the legs. Remember to
fasten the cross-strut (5) from the opposite pair of
legs at the same time!
Now fasten the height adjustment bars (4). Do this
with the washers (12), the serrated lock washers (11)
and the wing nuts size M6 (10). On the opposite side
you can hook the height adjustment bar (4) in the
ends of the axles in 3 different positions. Once again
fit the matching washers (12), the serrated lock
washers (11) and the wing nuts size M6 (10) to the
ends of the axle (9).
Finally, insert the two support plates (1) in the open
ends of the legs as far as they go.
Caution!
Be sure to wear safety gloves and all other
essential safety equipment when working on the
sawing trestle!
It is also imperative to follow the safety
instructions issued with the saw!
3. Folding down the sawing trestle
Loosen all the wing nuts and unhook the height
adjustment bar (4). Fold down the trestle and hook
the bracket (13) onto the opposite axle (9).
