Setting the jaw separation of the drive chuck
jaw
By adjusting the jaws the pipe cleaner can be adapted to the size of the cable used.
The chuck has two positions for the clamping jaws, one for a 16 mm (5/8") cable and one
for a 22 mm (7/8") cable.
Use the following procedure to adapt the pipe cleaner to the size of the cable:
Remove the lid of the chuck by unscrewing the screw.
The cone of the chuck has three small notches for a 16 mm (5/8") cable and three
large ones for a 22 mm (7/8") cable. They are marked according to the size.
Unscrew the "stop" screw of the cone, located between the two types of notches.
Press on all three jaws simultaneously.
Slide all three jaws together by rotating the cone of the chuck to the desired position.
To do so there is a slot in the cone of the chuck, which you have to press to rotate the
chuck.
Note: when you rotate the cone of the chuck, keep pressing the three jaws to prevent one
of them from coming out of its housing when changing slot.
When the jaws are positioned in the desired notches, screw the "stop" screw of the
cone back in.
Replace the lid of the chuck and screw back.
