WRITE THE EXTENDED SETUP SETTINGS TO THE CONTROLLER
When the configuration for the door station has been completed, click on the
Communications and Connect to the controller. Once connected:
1. Click on Communications and select Write to Controller...
2. Right-click on the Extended Setup checkbox on the Write to Controller... dialog box, so
that Extended Setup is checked and all other items are unchecked.
3. Click OK.
4. After the Extended Setup has been written to the controller, reboot all OmniTouch 7
touchscreens that are connected to the controller.
CALLING THE DOOR STATION FROM AN OMNITOUCH 7 TOUCHSCREEN
To call the door station from an OmniTouch 7 touchscreen, press the Intercom icon on the menu
bar. Select the name of the door station from the left pane. Once selected, an intercom call will
be immediately connected. You can see streaming video from the door station camera and have
a two-way audio conversation with someone at the door station.
To activate the relay on the door station, press the Activate button.
To end the call, press the End Call button.
CALLING OMNITOUCH 7 TOUCHSCREENS FROM THE DOOR STATION
To call an OmniTouch 7 or a group of OmniTouch 7 touchscreens from the door station, press
the capacitive touch call button (bell icon) on the door station. When the call button is pressed,
the LED will illuminate white.
The OmniTouch 7 touchscreen(s) will begin to ring. You will see the name of the calling door
station.
To reject (i.e. not answer) the call and silence the ring tone, press the Dismiss button.
To answer the call, press the Answer button.
When the call is answered, you can see streaming video from the door station camera and have
a two-way audio conversation with someone at the door station.
To activate the relay on the door station, press the Activate button.
To end the call, press the End Call button.
