Empty
and clean fue! tank
and refilr, and clean carbure
tor.
6.
Empty fuel tank and refill tank
with fresh,
clean gasoline.
7o Empty fuel tank and carbure-
tor, and refill tank with fresh
gasoline.
&
Remove
fuel tank and clean.
9.
Connect
and tighten
spark
plug wire.
10.Clean
engine air screen.
11 .Clean/replace
muffler.
12Make
necessary
adjust=
ments.

a Sears or other
qualified
service
center.

1. Fill fuel tank.

attempting

cartridge.

Empty fuel tank and carbure-
tor. and refill tank with fresh
gasoline.
6o Remove
fuel tank and clean.

Make sure spark plug wire is
seated
properly
on plug.
8.
Replace
spark plug or adjust
gap.
9.
Make necessary
adjust
ment&
lO.Replace
air filter.
1. Place throttle
control
in
"FAST"
position.
2. Clean or replace
air cleaner
cartridge.
3.
Replace
spark plug or adjust
gap,
4o Empty fuel tank and refill tank
with fresh, clean gasoline,

Make sure spark plug wire is

properly
on plug.
