Place your finger on the notifications area, and slide down to open the notifcation panel below.
You can access a list of notifications.
Brightness: Adjust the basic brightness level of the display to lighter or darker
Settings: Access Settings application
Wi-fi: Activate or deactivate the Wi-Fi connection
Emergency calls only: Check the 3G dongle network status
Charging: Check the status of the battery's charge
Airplane mode: Activate or deactivate GSM/GPRS
Location: Access location settings
