Introduction
The Southwire 41161N LED Voltage Detector & Tester packs a
variety of useful functions into one compact & powerful
electrical test tool. The MODE button selects between 1)
AC/DC voltage test mode, 2) Non-Contact Voltage (NCV)
Detector mode and 3) Continuity Test mode. The AC/DC
voltage test mode provides for AC voltage testing from 12V to
600V and DC voltage testing from 9V to 400V. It automatically
determines whether AC or DC voltage is being measured. The
non-contact voltage (NCV) detector mode detects the
presence of AC voltage from 100-1000V. The tester alerts you
with both a flashing red LED and an audible sounder. The
NCV also features a comprehensive self-test feature to ensure
the NCV is working correctly. The 41161N LED Voltage
Detector & Tester also tests for continuity. Test leads store
out of the way and there's a handy work light that you can use
anytime for those dimly lit areas.
