DANGER of injury as a result of scalding
Use caution when blending hot liquids.
Hot steam may suddenly escape and cause scalding.
Cleaning the chopper
Clean the chopper immediately after each use. If you wait too long, cleaning
will become unnecessarily difficult and, in extreme cases, very time-consuming.
Heavy soiling may result in permanent damages to the appliance.
1. Disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
2. If required, wipe the motor block and the connecting cord with a slightly
damp cloth. Wipe again with a dry cloth.
3. Disconnect the chopper from the motor block.
4. Remove the lid from the bowl and pull out the knife carefully.
NOTE: The lid is equipped with a bayonet catch. Rotate it counter-clockwise to
open the chopper.
5. Clean all parts under running water. Use a brush, if necessary. Before as-
sembly, allow all parts to dry well.
