MULTIMATIC 2110 2309
OPERATION
MULTIMATIC is a compact automatic control device ( see Fig. 7) for the automation of pressure groups with 2 pumps (mod.
2110/2309) or 3 pumps (mod. 3110/3309) with an electronic system commanded by a software agree with the rigorous safety and
efficacy requirements of the most important builders of pumps. It includes an inside pressure transducer that replaces the
functions of the pressure gauge. It also incorporates a flow sensor to optimize the operation of the system for small volumes as
well as to avoid the operation of the pumps without water. This pumps are managed by means of power relays being alternated
its operating sequence at every new starting.
The system incorporates a LCD screen where the parameters configuration is very simple and intuitive. Once the parameters are
introduced, the MULTIMATIC manages the start and stop of the system pumps as function of the programmed pressures. Start
and stop pressure values shall be programmed according with section CONFIGURATION items 7÷9 following next criteria :
Hm:
Max. water column height in m. It depends on the number of floors and corresponds to the height from the pump to the
last floor. Every 10 m of height corresponds approximately to 1 bar (0.98 bar).
Pw:
Available minimum pressure in last floor (usually 1.5 bar).
Pc:
Pressure drop. It can be considered with a simplified criteria as 0.033 bar/m.
Prmin: Minimum resultant pressure. It is the sum of the previous pressures and it will be the starting pressure of the second or
third pump, depending if it is a group of 2 or 3 pumps respectively.
Example for a 5 floors building ( 15 m) with pumps placed at level 0:
Hm=15 m
1.5 bar
For 2 pumps groups (mod. 2110/2309) pressures, in bar, should be regulated following their activation order:
PUMP
1st
2nd
For 3 pumps groups (mod. 3110/3309):
