8. Time-out will occur if the binding process was unsuccessful. Please refer
to Manual Binding in the Troubleshooting section.
Manual Binding
1. Repeat steps 4 to 5 of the "Binding the gateway".
2. With the plug in Off position (LED is Off) press and hold the On/Off/Dim
button for more than 3 seconds until the LED blinks rapidly. A 30-second
countdown will start.
3. When the Plug binds properly with the Gateway the LED indication will
turn on for 1 second then turn off. The screen below will appear
indicating the process is successful.
Note: At Step (2), if the button was pressed for less than 3 seconds, the Plug
will turn to "On" status (LED is on). To re-enter Manual Binding mode, press
the button again to turn off the Plug (LED is off), and then repeat the above
Steps 2-3 to complete the binding procedure.
Operation
Remote ON/Off control:
Select "Automation", then click on the power button to turn ON/OFF the
device. The icon will display the on/off status. User can change brightness
level by dragging the level bar.
Note: If the control is not responding, please check "Troubleshooting".
Manual ON/Off control:
Toggle the button for On or Off. Press the button and the LED will turn on,
and the incandescent lamp controlled by AD128 will also turn on, while
pressing the button again will turn off the incandescent lamp and its LED will
turn off as well.
Manual dimming control:
To adjust brightness/dim level, follow the steps below:
a. First press the button to turn on the lighting device;
b. Then press and hold the button. The Plug will start to increase the
brightness of the lighting device then decrease its brightness level. This
will be repeated in a circular manner as long as the button remains
pressed.
