DATA HOLD
01. Press [HOLD] once will retain the display reading and 'HOLD' icon will be flashing.
02. Press the button again to return to normal display.
MAXIMUM/MINIMUM TEMPERATURE MEMORY
01. Press [MAX/MIN] to display the maximum reading and the 'MAX' icon will be flashing.
02. Press the button once more to show the minimum reading and the 'MIN' icon will be flashing.
03. Press the button again to return to normal display.
04. Reset the memory once before taking new maximum/minimum reading.
05. To reset the memory, switch the thermometer off the on.
HIGH/LOW TEMPERATURE ALARM SETTING (OPTIONS 3 ONLY)
01. Press [SET] and the HI value will flash.
02. Press [ ] or [ ] to set the desired high alarm limit*.
03. Press [SET] to confirm high alarm limit and start low alarm limit setting.
04. Press [ ] or [ ] to set the desired low alarm limit*.
05. Press [SET] to finish alarm limit setting.
06. When the temperature reading is out of the set limits the alarm will sound. Press any key to stop the
alarm sound. The HI or LO icon ill be flashing until the reading is within the set limit.
* Press and hold button to increase or decrease the value automatically and press [
off or on.

] to switch thermometer off/on

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

When the reading becomes dim replace the battery.
NOTE
01. Clean the probe immediately with cleaning wipes after each measurement to avoid
cross contamination.
02. When the maximum/minimum reading is being displayed or the data hold function is activated the
thermometer can not be powered off until all the activated functions are released.
03. If thermometer shows abnormal operation then push the [RESET] button once.
04. If the thermometer is not in use for a long period of time then remove the battery to avoid
battery leakage.
05. Do not operate the thermometer in an environmental temperature lower than 0°C/32°F or higher than
50°C/122°F otherwise readings may be incorrect and it could damage the thermometer.
06. Do not place test probe inside the oven.
