Video-iris Zoom Lenses | Installation Instructions
Level and ALC Adjustments:
1. Select an adequately illuminated scene.
2. Set the "ALC" control to its mid-position.
3. Turn the "LEVEL" control to "L" until the iris closes. (The monitor
shows a low contrast, grainy picture).
4. Gradually turn the "LEVEL" control towards "H" to open up the iris.
The picture contrast improves and the noise reduces. The camera's
Automatic Gain Control is active.
5. Set the "LEVEL" control to the position at which the noise has
disappeared and the larger white parts of the picture are just not
washed-out.
