TM
TrickleSaver
power controller reduces the standby energy
consumed by TV accessories by switching them Off when the TV
is turned Off. The Product connects to a TV and its accessories via
two power socket cords. One power socket is the "Master" to
which a TV is connected. The second power socket cord is the
"Slave" to which all the TV accessories (power strip with connected
devices) are connected.

IMPORTANT
The Product will typically work with a TV without any adjustment to
the Trimmer Threshold. Simply connect the Product as directed
and check if it operates correctly before making any Trimmer
adjustments.
TV Installation
The simplest and most typical TV installation is a TV with a
number of accessory devices.
The TV is plugged into the "Master" Power Socket of the product.
The Accessory devices are plugged into a Power-Strip and
plugged into the "Slave" Power Socket of the Product. The Power
Plug should plug directly into a wall Power Outlet.

Boxes
Certain manufacturers of set-top boxes, which have Hard Disk
Drive (HDD) functionality, do not recommend hard switching off of
their products as programming and software updates are typically
downloaded when set-top boxes are in standby mode. We
recommend reviewing the manufacturers documentation prior to
using a TV TrickleSaver with these products.
PC Installation
The Product can also be used with PCʼs (instead of a TV) when a
PC TrickleSaver cannot be used – typically this is because the PC
USB port does not power down as required.
The PC is plugged into the "Master" Power Socket of the product.
The Accessory devices are plugged into a Power-Strip and
plugged into the "Slave" Power Socket of the Product. The Power
Plug should plug directly into a wall Power Outlet. The product
enables the PC Accessories to be switched Off when the PC is in
Sleep Mode and Shutdown Mode.
Trimmer Threshold Setting
The ʻTrimmerʼ, adjusts the Threshold at which the Accessory
devices switch On/Off. The Trimmer Threshold is the power level
(Watts) of the "Master" device at which the product will switch
On/Off the devices connected to the Slave Power Socket.
