Compliance

• Do not use the device before reading the contents of this manual.
• Do not use this appliance for functions other than those described in
this manual.
• This manual must always be available to be consulted by every user.
• This appliance has been designed for domestic and commercial use.
• ATTENTION: this product must be installed by qualified personnel to
ensure compliance with the radiation protection legislation and
regulations.
• The product must be correctly connected to an electrical system
compliant with current regulations and equipped with an effective
earthing system. If in doubt, request a check by professionally qualified
personnel.
• Connect the appliance to the electrical power supply only if the system
is able to provide the maximum electrical voltage and capacity
indicated on the rating plate (A figure A) at maximum power.
• An omnipolar switch with a contact opening distance of 3 mm or higher
should be provided for installation, enabling complete disconnection
under overvoltage category III conditions.
• WARNING: when designing the system, it is mandatory to provide at
least two automatic protection devices in series to prevent any risk of
accidental exposure to UV-C rays (i.e. presence detectors, timers, door
locks, lit signals; see connection diagram: FIGURE C). It will be the
installer's responsibility to adequately size the system according to the
plan and volume of the room and the number of accesses to the
premises, and it will be the installer's task to choose a sufficient
number of automatic protection devices to ensure total coverage of the
premises.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
