If the colour of the tested sample is darker than the colours on the colour
chart, dilute the sample with distilled water or phosphate-free water and
repeat the test.
Depending on the dilution, the result must be multiplied as follows to de-
termine the actual phosphate content:
2.5 ml sample + 2.5ml dist. water: result x 2
1 ml sample + 4 ml dist. water: result x 5
You will also find easy-to-follow pictographic instructions on the re-
verse side of the colour chart.
