INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE FOR THE PATIENT
The F22 device
The F22 system consists of a series of aligners, thin removable orthodontic appliances, that are made-
to- measure. The aligners allow the patient's teeth to be moved gradually from their original position to an
optimal position.

Indications for use

The F22 system is indicated for the alignment of teeth during orthodontic treatments for malocclusions, and
is available only with a dental prescription.
Contraindications
The F22 system is contraindicated in cases of periodontal pathologies, radicular resorption and
pharmacological therapies or systemic conditions that may affect tooth movement.
Inserting your aligners
1. Carefully wash your hands with soap and water before touching the aligners.
2. Take hold of only one aligner at a time.
3. Rinse the new aligners thoroughly with cold water before use, after removing them from their packaging.
All aligners are nevertheless cleaned, disinfected and packaged before consignment.
4. Check that the correct aligner has been taken. The upper aligner is for the upper dental arch, and the
lower aligner is for the lower dental arch.
5. Either the upper or the lower aligner can be inserted first. To insert an aligner, push it delicately onto the
incisors (front teeth). Then use the fingertips to apply a uniform pressure on the molars (back teeth) on
the left and right, until the aligner clicks into position.
6. Do not bite on the aligners to position them correctly, because this could damage them.
