Connect the appliance only to mains power sockets supply-

ing a mains power voltage of 100–240 V ~ , 50/60 Hz .
Under no circumstances should the mains adapter be sub-

merged in liquids or liquids be allowed to penetrate its
housing . Do not expose the mains adapter to humidity and
do not use it outdoors . If any liquid gets into the housing of
the mains adapter, disconnect the mains plug from the pow-
er socket immediately and have it repaired by a qualified
technician .
In the event of malfunctions and before you clean the appli-

ance, remove the plug from the mains power socket .
Only pull on the plug itself to disconnect the appliance, not

on the power cable .
Do not wrap the power cable around the appliance, and

protect the cable from being damaged .
Arrange for defective power plugs and/or cables to be

replaced as soon as possible by a qualified technician or by
our Customer Service Department to avoid the risk of injury .
Do not kink or crush the power cable and route it in such
►
a way as to prevent people from stepping on it or tripping
over it .
Do not open the appliance housing or attempt to repair the
►
appliance yourself . This can lead to risks and also invalidates
the warranty . Defective appliances should be repaired by
authorized specialists only .
Never hold the mains adapter, the power cable or the pow-
►
er plug with wet hands .
