Changing a Twist Cap*
* Available on Big Red and Jelly Bean Twist only.
Firmly, rotate the colored switch top counter-clockwise to
remove. Attach a new color by rotating the switch top clock-
wise until it stops.
A Snap Switch Cap is sold separately for the Big Red and Jelly Bean
switches. Place a picture or symbol on the switch top, and secure by
snapping your Switch Cap over it.
Switch Storage and Care:
DO:
• Wrap the cable separately
• Disconnect the switch from any device
before cleaning
• Use damp cloth or alcohol to clean
• Sterilize Pneumatic Switch in gas
autoclave
DO NOT:
• Wrap the cable around the switch
• Pull on the cable of the switch
• Immerse the switch in water
• Use solvents to clean your switch
• Open or attempt to take switch apart
• Expose switch to extreme heat or cold
Mounting
The Big Red, Jelly Bean and Specs switches:
The Big Red, Jelly Bean or Specs switch may be
mounted onto the Slim Armstrong ® and Universal
Switch Mounting Systems using the appropriate
mounting plate.
• Big Red – Large Triangular Mounting Plate
• Jelly Bean – Small Triangular Mounting Plate
• Specs – Small Circular Mounting Plate
The Specs switch also includes a space-saving flush
base as well as a strap base allowing it to be worn or
secured with a Velcro ® strap.
For String Switch and other flat-surface mounting
options, use UltraStik ® reusable adhesive (for horizon-
tal) and Dual Lock™ interlocking tape for vertical or
angled surfaces.

Warranty
AbleNet manufactured products include a two-year limited
warranty. This warranty is against defects in materials and
manufacturing for two-years from the date of purchase.

If documentation identifying the date of purchase is not sup-
plied, the warranty period will be determined as two years
from the manufacture date stamped inside the product.
All products under warranty are repaired free of charge.
Products no longer covered by warranty may be repaired for
a nominal fee. All repairs are warranted for 90 days. Before
sending in a product for repair, please contact an AbleNet
customer representative for the Return Authorization Number
(RA#) and repair charge, if applicable.
