The top tool bar gives you all the frequently used controls for the oscilloscope. The first
group of buttons on the left of the toolbar opens different windows:
Opens a new oscilloscope window
Opens the spectrum analyser window
Shows the readings in a meter view.
Both channels are controlled by
the timebase drop-down menus:
The timebase menus control the amount of time that the trace takes to travel
horizontally across one square on the grid. The first drop-down menu selects the amount
of time taken to travel through one square when the horizontal zoom factor is set to x1.
The second drop-down menu selects the horizontal zoom factor.
The PicoScope 3223 PC Oscilloscope has two channels: A and B. The 3423 variant has
two further channels: C and D. Each channel is controlled by its own set of controls in
the top toolbar:
