Teach-in of the measuring range
The start and end points of the curve (Slmin and Slmax)
can be defined by teaching in to indicate the gradient
progress and gradient value of the curve.
Teach-in process of the measuring range
1. Activate the measuring range settings.
2. Move target to new Slmin.
3. Temporarily save the current distance as Slmin.
4. Move target to new Slmax.
5. Temporarily save the current distance as Slmax.
6. Apply and activate values for the new measuring range Slmin/
Slmax.
3)

4)
1.1 mm (BAW M12MI-BLC35C-S04G) or
2.3 mm (BAW M12MH-BLC70G-S04G) away from Slmin
The teach-in process has no time limit.
The minimum distance from start to end point:
–
BAW M12MI-BLC35C-S04G: 1.1 mm
–
BAW M12MH-BLC70G-S04G: 2.3 mm
The start point Slmin is initially saved temporarily and can
then be overwritten any number of times.

If the measuring range is changed by teach-in, any
previously saved switching positions (BDCs) are deleted.
The new curve offset and gradient value set by teach-in
can be read out as described in Tab. 6-7 on page 12.
