Operation
Fluid
We recommend using a high-quality, water-based haze fluid with Haze 800 DMX. You can purchase
this from a local or online retailer.
Important: Using non-water-based fluids with this product will void its warranty.
Setup
Important: Use in well ventilated environment to prevent excessive concentration of vapor. Do not
use this product as a space heater or humidifier.

1. After unpacking the box, unscrew and remove the cap at the top of the tank.
2. Fill the tank with a water-based haze fluid (described above).
3. Screw the cap back onto the top of the tank so it is secure. Make sure the tube (that passes
through the cap) is inserted as far into the tank as possible.
4. Connect the remote control to the rear panel of Haze 800 DMX.
5. Connect Haze 800 DMX to a power outlet.
6. On the rear panel, set the Power Switch to the On position. The Power light on the remote
control will illuminate, and Haze 800 DMX will begin warming up.
Important: If the environment is significantly colder than the temperature of Haze 800 DMX, you
may need to wait for it to adjust to the ambient temperature.
7. Wait for 2–3 minutes for Haze 800 DMX to warm up. During this time, do not press any buttons on
the remote control. The Ready light on the remote control will illuminate when it is ready to use.
DMX Linking
Use a standard 3-pin DMX cable to connect the DMX Out of one device to the DMX In of another
device. Your connected DMX controller will send its data to the fixtures in sequence. All devices in
this chain will receive all DMX data.
