This air control kit allows the raising or lowering of the vehicle by inflating
or exhausting air from the air suspension. Do NOT operate vehicle when
suspension is in lowered or raised condition.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check for proper installation of the automatic air control kit which is
used in conjunction with this air control kit.
2. Refer to Figure 1 for plumbing instructions and Figures 3-5 for
mounting instructions of components. Note: For installation and
operation of the hand valve refer to L31193 (94100121)
3. All tubing and fittings to be supplied by customer.
4. Use a drop of oil or loctite to lubricate threaded connections. DO
NOT USE a pipe compound or teflon tape.
5. Plumb in accordance with I.C.C. regulations.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Normal Highway Operation
When vehicle is in motion, switch must be in "OFF" position for normal
height control valve automatic operation.
Raising and Lowering
To raise or lower vehicle, place switch in "ON" position and regulate the
height of the vehicle with the hand valve.
APPLICATION NOTE
AC-77-M/S - Air Control schematic shown is for a two Height Control
Valve system.
AC-78-M/S - Air Control schematic shown is for a single Height Control
Valve system with the manifold line installed as shown by a dashed line in
Figure 1.
Note: Type CR HCV shown in Figure 1 is not included with AC-77/AC-78
Series Kits. The Type CR HCVs are included in the AC-6100/AC-6000
Series Kits. Contact your Haldex Sales Representative for assistance.
