Before you finally position this product for use, temporarily connect it to a properly fused power supply
to check the lamp works correctly.
Ensure the plug conforms to the relevant EU/UL or local electrical standards.

VOLTAGE
Before operating this unit please refer to the product label mounted at the side of the luminaire to check
you are operating with the correct voltage.
7.
FREQUENCY
Frequency on this product is automatically selected by the electronic PSU (50/60Hz)
8.
MOUNTING OR REPLACING THE LAMP
Always disconnect the follow-spot from the power supply before installing the lamp.
Make sure the unit is cold and disconnected from the power source.

If replacing a lamp use a proper thermal protection for your hands (ex. gloves) in case the lamp is
still hot.
•
Protect the lamp from abrasion and scratches. Do not install or use a cracked or broken lamp. In
case a lamp cracks or breaks, disconnect from the power supply, allow the unit to cool and
remove/replace the broken lamp.
•
Never touch the lamp bulb with bare hands. Oil and grease can contaminate the quartz surface and
reduce the lamp performance and life of the lamp.

Do not remove the plastic protection around the lamp until after having installed the lamp.
•
Using a plain screw driver open the lamp-holder panel positioned on the top rear of the housing by
turning (counter clockwise) the two ¼ turn fasteners.

Remove the panel.
•
Remove the lamp (if operating a replacement) by holding the ceramic base and pulling it gently
upwards until it is dislodged
•
Place the new lamp in by holding the ceramic base and pressing gently until it is locked in position.
•
Re-position the lamp holder panel by turning clockwise the two ¼ turn fasteners
LDR declines any responsibility on poor performance of the unit or damages to the inner components in case
a non compatible lamp is used.
9. CONNECT TO THE POWER SUPPLY
Make sure the plug you are fitting withstands the lamp power load. To perform a correct wiring, please
refer to the instructions given on the label attached to the loose end of the mains cable. Before you finally
position this product for use, temporarily connect it to a properly fused power supply to check the lamp
works correctly. Protect each product with a fuse suitable to the lamp you are using.
