the appliance. The appliance must not be cleaned or serviced by children under the
age of 3 without the supervision of an adult.
• Keep the power cord and product out of the reach of children under the
age of 3.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• The power cord of the appliance should never be replaced by the user
himself. In case of necessity contact an assistance centre authorised by LANGE
DISTRIBUTION or professionally qualified staff.
• In case of failure and/or malfunctioning of the appliance, turn it off and do not tamper
with it. For any repairs contact an assistance centre authorised by LANGE
DISTRIBUTION and ask for the use of original spare parts.
• At the end of the life-cycle of the appliance, put it out of service by cutting the power
cord after disconnecting the plug from the outlet. For the disposal of the appliance
follow the regulations which are valid in your place of residence.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Before using the unit, wash all parts that come into contact with food during use, including

dry thoroughly.

YOGURT CULTURES
The cultures necessary for triggering the fermentation process can be obtained in
different ways:
• From a natural yogurt with a high concentration of live active cultures available in
grocery stores: make sure that the expiration date is as distant as possible from the
date of purchase.
• With a freeze-dried yogurt starter purchased from a chemist's: when using this culture,
